Vit C Glow Face Oil

a night face oil. it carries an oil-soluble form of vitamin C — VC-IP (ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate), a vitamin-C derivative more stable than the acid form and at home in an oil base.

the body of it is plant oils: squalane and jojoba, two oils usually spoken of in terms of the skin barrier; broccoli-seed oil for a slip finish; and a group of oils known for antioxidant character — tomato, sea buckthorn, tea seed. lavender and turmeric-root oil close it, for scent and a soft feel.

the label states: no fragrance · no alcohol.

skin loses moisture through a thinning lipid layer. oil refills that layer more directly than water does.
so we add no water to preserve or to bulk out the feel — it is all oil from the start.

the texture is kept thin enough to absorb quickly, without sitting as a heavy greasy film.
that is why it wears comfortably at night, and it is the one reason to believe. the rest is detail.
